How to Grow More Vegetables and Fruits by John Jeavons (2006, Paperback)

This is a wonderful handbook for any gardener, but especially for a backyard gardener. It is constantly being updated with the latest research on how to maximize the production of your garden--even if your garden is very small like mine is. For example, I always feel like the space my peas were in is wasted after they die off in June. This book has the answer--it gives you a schedule and diagram for rotating crops in and out so that there is always something producing in each part of your garden. It also walks you through composting, organic methods, and many other details. It will get you started if you are new to gardening and take you to the next level if you are an experienced gardener.
