I bought this movie because my husband remembered it as a teen watching it and said I should seeit. I could not find it in any movie rental place so I went online and found it and will pass it on to my kids to watch it because I thought even though it was a pretty old show it was really good!

I bought this movie for my sisters birthday, she has been looking for six monthes for the movie and I was on ebay one day and looked it up and there it was. She loves it she has already watched it six times, she (not to tell her age) watched the first one.

This is one of those movies that scared you so bad when you were a kid you remember it 34 years later.Watching it now it's not as scary but what do you want for 1976.It kind of drags out,But has a good ending.The dvd quality is fantastic.I definitly recommend for your collection if nothing else for the rarity.Now they need to make a dvd of THE DARK.

They just don't make films with the suspense and non-gore scare factor anymore, it is now an all out gore fest. Yes, there is some rather comic gore by today's standards and special effects. However, it is the growls and screams that do most of the thrilling. It would be really cool to see how such a film would be done these days with all the animal robot doubles, gore effects, HD and such.

I remember seeing this movie when i was a kid. It gave me nightmares for a week. I have always wanted it and i seen it on dvd and had to have it.

We are very pleased because it is on dvd and clear to watch.The sound quality
is so much better than our old vhs.So we are glad to add this oldy to our
library.Bonnie

excellent subject matter,excellent movie ,great cast.highly reccomended.i,m glad that i bought this movie.i would buy it again if i did not own one.
