Terror At Red Wolf Inn

I bought this DVD because of the movie "Terror At Red Wolf Inn". The movie is available on a number of budget labels and packages, as apparently it's considered in the public domain now. The film is known under a number of different titles, including "Terror House", "Folks At Red Wolf Inn", and "Terror on the Menu". The plot involves Regina, a lonely young female college student who wins a "contest" she doesn't remember entering--she gets a letter one day inviting her to a private seaside 'resort' for the weekend. She's flown in by a small charter plane and picked up at the airport by her hosts, an elderly couple who live in a large mansion with their seemingly disturbed son. Regina soon learns that her hosts are cannibals who prey on the female guests they invite. They have been feeding Regina and the few other guests human flesh for dinner, and Regina is next on the menu.
The film was hard to come by before making the rounds on the budget labels. The print they use for all of these transfers seem to be the same. While it's not the greatest, it's certainly watchable. The version of the film shown here is the re-cut "PG" rated version with most of the violence edited out, so there's nothing particularly shocking here. The presentation is budget, with no extras to speak of. The chapter stops are functional but poorly organized, with only a few options. Simply put, this is by no means a definitive presentation of the film, but it'll do until we get one--if we ever get one.
