How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2006, DVD)
) Jim Carrey is the Grinch. No other actor could have brought this character to life. I grew up with the cartoon version and have vivid memories of the Grinch. This live action version is so true to the cartoon, it's almost hard to believe these are sets and actors. It has something for everyone from children to adults. The story is told perfectly, warmly, and in such an entertaining way, it's hard to not watch it again and again. It's an ageless story with messages that ring true to our lives.
