GrimGrimoire (PlayStation 2, 2007)

This game is certainly for the anime/harry potter/real time strategy fan but definently worth trying even if you aren't for the gorgeous artwork and a cool story. This game will deffinently be a classic and shouldn't be missed. It is completely voiced and if you are like me you like your anime in japanese since theres something to be appreciated for the sincerity of tone in the way japanese actors express things both exagerated and subtle. You can also hear it in english which is also well acted. The game really takes it's time teaching you all you need to know at the begining. All in all I'm very happy with the game and hope we see more like it in years to come.

The product was received super fast (1 day) and in excellent condition as the seller promised. Packaged excellently, instruction book, case, and cd were in Brand NEW condition. Higly recommend this seller.

A slightly short, but captivating SRPG, with a relatively simple and captivating combat system. Well-thought-out characters, excallent English and Japanese voiceacting, and absolutely gorgeous artwork make this game one of my favourite PS2 games overall.

Ive been looking for this game for a long since I heard it was good, Im glad a found this game for this price. A very great buy.

The first thing you will notice about the title is the art and characters. The strategy and learning curve can be daunting at first, but is easy enough after a couple of rounds. This one of those games to keep in your collection as it has a limited run and will most likely not be remade for the present or next gen consoles.

Grimgrimoire is a great looking game, with a mediocre combat system. As far as the graphics are concerned, it's one of the most beautiful ever on the Playstation 2. Especially for this game being 2D, something not quite as common as once was. The characters are absolutely stunning, and intelligent. With what seems like a somewhat compelling storyline. But moving on to the combat. This is somewhat lacking as far as I am concerned. The combat menus are somewhat confusing. Even for someone who is familiar with RTS games, and definitley with RPGs. Making the characters were easier to control than I would have rated this game with a higher score. The main reason I bought this game was the visuals and the publisher, NIS America. As being know for their selection of odd games from Japan.
