So you start your career driving for other team and when you get fund for buying your own car , you start your own team racing against the worlds !! This game is between Forza motorsport and Project Gotham Racing style .

Pros: - The difficulties of the games
- The great choice of cars (40 and +)
- The great variery of races ( Euro , USA , JAPAN )
- Visual Aspect ( like a movie - The replay are incredible ...)

Cons: - The difficulties of the games
- The sound of the car (sometimes bad...)
- No music

Excellent game! For some people it may be difficult-it is not like arcade games where you cannot get damaged, you can get totaled and the damage is very real-driving is affected when you are seriously damaged! Great Grafics on the PS3.

Everything that was promised was delivered. A++! Dealer stated brand new game and it came sealed like it was right out of the store. Also a very speedy delivery!

Pros:

1)Amazing graphics and visuals!
2)Gameplay is top notch, play it without the driving assists and youll see how real this is.
3)Crashes are insane and so is the ability to replay them.
4)Camera views are brilliant, specially the cockpit view!
5)You can feel the speed when you play.

Cons:
1)No engine/parts customization, just paint and decals(sponsors)
2)There are only around 40-50 cars to choose from...but they look and feel great.

If this game included customization i would give it a perfect 10/10. This is the most fun ive had with a car racing game since NFS Most Wanted. I give it 9/10

This is a awsome game great graphix good racing. if u like racing this is the game for you many differnt races from lamans to drifting to demo derby i got this game and cant stop playin it

Best jogability. I bought because the same team did Dirt 2, another awesome racing game. It's not so easy to play but very exciting.

Now it's almost obsolete but Codemasters did a good arcade near simulator racing game. For those are used to Need For Speed, the first turn show you that there's time you just have to release the gas button. I had to repeat the first turn almost 10 times before I realized about how make it.
There is no sound ingame, and multiplayer in PS3 has few people, but it's still a fun racing game. Other backward for PS3 is it don't support trophies as it has on Xbox360, and never will. Codemasters says it isn't simple implement trophies on a past game and they don't see the the pay off doing that.
The replay camera let you travel back time and chose a point to do it that turn again. You feel looking forward for turn because it's where you have the probability to pass an oponent.
If you have friends who have his game too, well, it'll be fun. If you don't, it's still fun. Or you can wait for GRID 2.

new game but would be nice with the book and art work at least the cover art work would have been nice

this title follows up on codemnsters already established pro race driver series.
i was dissapointed that the aussie v8supercars and german dtm series have been dropped in grid. i loved playing the full season of v8's on the pro race driver series. this game has a limmited amount of tracks and cars compared to other racing titles in todays racing game market & past pro race driver games as well..but what the game lacks in sheer car & track numbers it makes up for in the cars that it does have in the game. most are full blown race cars and power house's no mini vans here lol.

the damage model is the best i have seen on any ps3 title to date..i like this game a lot better overall than need for speed drift & dirt2 wich are both very good games, with dirt2 being my second favorite racing game at the moment.

the graphics are stunning, specially compared to code masters older ps2 racing titles wich were above average on ps2 and i only expect the ps3 titles to get even better in the future. the driving physics have changed a little on the ps3 compared to grid's older brothers on ps2, it may take racing newbies a while to get the handling down to become a front runner in the races..i actually like the feel of the racing phyisics in grid alot better than NFS drift wich got a higher rating 9.0 compared to grids 8.7 at IGN.com

i think NFS shift is overated i would have given it a 7.0 at best, grid is probably about right at 8.7 i wouldn't give it a perfect score as there is a lot that could be added to make the game a lot deeper to give it more replay value. but for a first generation title on ps3 i think its definatly at the top of the racing sim list until GT5 is released, or grid2 ?? please bring back the v8supercars and all the aussie tracks and grid will be awesome!!

Love it!! I just wish there was an option to turn off "terminal damage." Im not that good yet. Most realistic driving experience. Much better game than Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Need a good driving wheel to get the most out of it.

Graphics are great, Cars are awesome, Demo derby get out lots of frustration after my 45 minute commute everyday. I recommend this to everyone who likes speed!!!

Wow... I didn't think that they can make a realistic game like this, I'm a big speedster in video games, and this tops the charts so far.AWESOME game.. a must.

The thing I loved about it was the fact that they had different racing styles in the game. Your American Muscle, Tuner, Formula One, and exotic. If you can handle Gran Turismo then this isnt for you.

Love the drifting in the game
Normal racing isnt very realistic, is more like NFS style
but if u want realistic racing game, go for Grand Turismo or Forza Motorsport
this is just a game to enjoy the fun of drifting

One of the best racing games ever. On ps3, this is as good as racing it gets (until Gran Turismo has a "real" franchise release). The multiple racing modes includes everything from derby racing to open wheelers, even 24 heures du le mans. This game is thrilling and addictive, I haven't been able to stop playing since I got it.

What I dislike about it,It is a controlled environment.You can not explore on your own crusing around some large city.You can not design your own cars or add parts,colors,ect.GRID is very difficult:[NOT] smooth flowing car racing performance.GRID is Old school style racing.How ever LOOKS as far as grafics is up todate with technology.--------WARNING RENT GAMES BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THEM NO MATTER HOW GREAT A DEAL OR HOW BIG THEY ARE ADVERTISED------MY OWN OPINION-----------
