What a great cookbook!
Most cook books are filled with either alien ingredients, or are sorta the "same ole same ole" in terms of content.
This book, however, serves to educate about tips and tricks from the years of the great depression, and it also provides VERY user-friendly recipes...many of which I've never seen before and are inventions specific to the era and place (rural towns in america, mostly).
All in all, just a very good cook book that I got several recipes out of, as well as a fun butu brief education about our great nation, and the people that came before me within it.
