If you've seen the fantastic movie, you have to read the book - I wouldn't hesitate to say that if you've seen ANY movie based on a SK novel you really MUST read the book for the full story. Very few of the films made from his stories are actually worth watching, there's far too much going on in the characters' heads for it all to translate well. That said, this book is no exception to the book-is-better rule (even though THIS particular movie was awesome). It is so rich and the people seem more like living beings than ink on paper. One of those books that you can't start if you have to go to work the next day...you'll be up very late reading!!
