Surprisingly good story

I bought the VHS tape for my mother for Christmas. The movie has never been released on DVD. I watched it when I copied it to a DVD for her. The movie was surprisingly good. Anthony Perkins was excellent, and to my great surprise, is a talented musician and singer. (He had one scene in the movie to show off.) Audrey Hepburn was incredibly real and incredibly beautiful. By today's standards, the movie is a little silly, but for a classic, it was quite original and captivating.

i was born in this area,i wanted to see the accuracy in the filming of this movie.the falls shown at the start of the movie is in "guyana",where i was born,the cuyuni river mentioned in the movie separates GUYANA and VENEZUELA and i remember this movie from when i was a little kid in guyana.

) I bought this film as I am a fan of Anthony Perkins' work. This is a really nice love story set in the amazon rainforest. It has the romance,danger and a good story line.
If you like these types of film or you just like Anthony Perkins or Audrey Hepburn, then definetly give this film a watch, its great.
