The Green Lantern - First Flight (Blu-ray Disc, 2009)

The story have been told many times before and that was expected but I did like the animation and the voices that were chosen for the characters.

Look, to most fans, Green Lantern and his story is known, so don't expect it to change DRASTICALLY in this movie. I won't give away anything, but old fan will enjoy as well as new cartoon / anime fans. This is GREEN LANTERN reborn for a new generation of fans.
KID friendly - keeps the little ones attention - 9/10 (there is some killing and although no graphically shown, maybe much for younger ones).
FEMALE friendly - typically they won't care, but the action draws the ladies in as well and the well paced STORY keep them there - 9/10.

Specifically, what does pop out - The Animation is SUPERB and COLOR & CLARITY make for a very exciting action movie. The cartoon style is different from previous animation by DC (BATMAN, Wonder Woman, JL: Final Frontier)the GL movie has it's own style, same way the SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY had a different style.

1) You can buy this anywhere.
2) BEST BUY had a week 1 special - the BLU-RAY or DVD came with a Green Lantern - Hal Jordan figurine. Same as the Wonder Woman, it has alot of articulation and is sure to go up in VALUE (Wonder Woman goes for $25 on E-BAY).
