Green Card (DVD, 2003)

This is an excellent movie that you will want to watch over and over. It is a great movie to watch late at night or on a slow afternoon by yourself or with a loved one.

I would highly recommend this movie to all people.

It's just a great movie. I had watched it on TV numerous times so decided I might as well buy it and have it in my DVD library.

This movie was made in the 80's and i saw it when I was a little girl (i have 20 years) I LOVE IT! Is a very charming story about love. Just like Ghost and Pride And PRejudice. Simply a gorgeous story. Two strangers married. He for the green card of residency because he was French. She because wants to get a apt with a greenhouse. finally they fell in love. Just watch it!

It's a funny romantic comedy and I wish they would have made a part two. The characters were quirky and likeable.

This movie is really cute. It's a simple plot but if you're in the mood for something fun and uplifting...I reccomend it highly! Plus is was my first introduction to Gerard Depardieu who is utterly charming in this movie. If you like Pretty Woman and movies of the like you'll probably like this movie too.

probably not Andie Mc Dowell's best acting but it's a nice story, and the characters are endearing. If you know someone with an immagraton issue, it's a good laugh!!

I like the story line. The people that was in it did a good job at making the story have a flow to it. They were good.

Loved all the NYC shots. The apartment is terrific - a prewar building somewhere on the west side, I think. Perhaps it is on Riverside Drive or Broadway. I think from the rooftop of the apartment I can see the top of The Dakota. If you love NYC architecture you'll love it. Gerard Depardieu and Andie MacDowell are perfectly cast. Bebe Neuwirth and the gal who plays her mother give memorable performances. I saw the movie years ago when I was in Paris and it always stayed with me as one that I truly enjoyed so I decided to get the DVD and I'm glad I did.
