Notes GREED was added to the Library of Congress National Film Registry in 1991.
GREED was filmed over the course of two years at a cost of more than $700,000. The original cut of the film ran over eight hours, but was trimmed by the studio to under two hours.
GREED is a silent movie. MGM/UA Home Video's release includes a stereo orchestral score.
Rated BBFC PG by the British Board of Film Classification.
