Greatest Hits by Johnny Horton (CD, Jan-1987, Columbia USA)

If you love Johnny, you'll love this one. His three tops hits, Battle Of New Orleans, Sink The Bismark and North To Alaska altogether. The sounds bring it all back. Johnny left us way too early, but this one keeps his music alive.

I payed for this CD in may and as of today I have not got it,I have sent many emails still I have no CD.

I have always liked Johnny Horton and was so excited to find a cd with so many of his great songs all on one cd.

Johnny Horton was one of my favorite artists growing up. I always liked his songs and would sing along with them when played on the radio. I bought the CD to listen to some of these songs again over and over.

Thank you for the chance to buy a cd that I have been looking for for a very long time this one was hard to find. Thanks again.

Have this on record, but have been looking for it on CD. As it is an old release I guess most stores that handled records have gone the way of the records. I want to thank this company for having the best collection of hard to find albums that I have found. Excellent music from an excellent company to deal with. Now, I can enjoy great music and great memories forever.

Husband was one happy camper when it came in the mail. Had mentioned he wished he could find the CD. I jumped on Ebay and found it in about 3 minutes. Such fun to make someone happy. THANKS

I love GOOD country music and this is why I purchase this music. I listened to this era of music all of my life. I am now in my fifties and still I have not heard any better music

This is a good dvd that i had seen along time ago. And it is a cool addition to my colection in many ways.

What I love about this CD is that it is the CD version of an album that my father had when I was a child. I loved it then and I love it just as much now. Had Johnny Horton lived, he would have been one of the greatest country singers in America, right up there with Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, and Conway Twitty.

I had been looking for this album for years. Now I have it and I will treasure it for the rest of my life. The price was small compared to the meaning this music has in my life. No country music today compares with the traditional country music of the past.

The Stylings of Johnny Horton are so uplifting and just get your toes tapping. The emotions he can bring forth in his music are absolutely mind blowing, especially for the WWII generation.
My Kids grew up with Johnny Horton, and now my grandkids are discovering him. He was a true American Treasure and his music still is.

I bought the johnny horton cd because my dad had the record and I use to play some of the songs all the time. Great story teller is Johnny Horton if you like songs of the civil war and other wars this is the cd you should buy. I have been listening to it almost everyday and now my dad wants to get one too.

I like his music style and his songs. I think he is unique on both!

MY DAD HAD THE RECORD. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED IT SO I GOT THE CD. THEN I HAD BOYFRIEND HEAR IT HE LOVES IT. THATS WHY I GOT THIS ONE FOR HIM, FOR HIS BIRTHDAY.

This is an old album that we've had for more than 30 years. My mother-in-law asked that we replace it with a cd so she could listen to it on her new cd player. We all love this cd.
