What can be said about Dan Fogelberg. Fascinating singer with a wonderful voice. A songwriter of great depth. This album was worth the price for "The Leader of the Band". This song was written out of respect for his father. But there were a number of other equally good songs as well. The world suffered a great loss when this fine young man died at such an early age. Rest in Peace, Dan.

Great voice, great artist, Not only a voice and sound from the past, but an American Music Icon. He will be missed........!!

This was a straight forward purchase of a cd. The cd arrived in a timely manner and was as described. I appreciate the "Buy Now" function at a reasonable rate and the standard shipping. It was a good deal of an older cd that was in quality conditions. Thanks.

I absolutely love this music. My dad had a Dan Fogelberg album when I was a little girl and I got hooked. Now that I am in my late 30's I can appreciate it even more. We can relate to at least one song if not all of them at some point in our lives.

I have always loved Dan Fogelberg's music, loved his concerts, but only had vinyl lp's, which I can't play anymore. So I got this CD because it was his greatest hits. It is an excellent album, from one of the music world's most under-rated, under-appreciated musicians. Sadly, Dan passed away December 16, 2007, but his beautiful voice and wonderful lyrics will live on forever.

I've been a Dan Fogelberg fan since the early 70's. An incredibly talented man, yet modest, he wrote the most hauntingly beautiful melodies and lyrics. His loss last year left me wanting to hear more of his work. No disappointment here, he generously left a website for his fans to turn to after his loss. No other like him. Thanks, Dan, you're in my heart.

Artist is now deceased. I have always enjoyed his songs. They are mellow and calm you down when you have had a stressful day. This CD happens to be his greatest hits.

In the wake of the death of music legend Dan Fogelberg, I wanted to buy his CD. These songs take me way back to when I was a carefree teenager. Rock on Dan!

It's a CD. You'd have to like the music. A classic Fogelberg, now that he's gone it's worth even more to me. Quality was great, exactly as I expected. Classic CD.

All the good songs from Dan Fogelberg - the ones you remember. These are nice, easygoing songs from the 1970's.

I like Dan Fogelberg's music. He is one of the better writers of the day. He writes about events of a person's life and or person's thoughts. It is this that most people can relate to. He makes you feel the emotions that he wold be feeling.His writing will stand the test of time.

This is a very heartfelt CD. His love songs were the best that were ever written. A great CD to put on the headphones and sit back with a glass of wine and listen to after a long hard day. Maybe a little snow falling would be nice as a back drop. Buy this CD so you too can have a piece of history, because some time in the near future it will be impossible to find. Enjoy!

What more can be said about Dan Fogelberg that has not already been said by his many fans...well this one has a lot to say about our "Minstrel". He was the most multi talented musician, instrumentalist and lyracist that has EVER lived. To buy this CD is only an investment in the fact that you will insure you will have your very own copy. For some reason his CD's have all gone to OUR OF PRINT, are are becoming very scarce and hard to find...so if you have an opportunity to buy this one then you better do so before it off the shelf permanently. This is a great Dan Choice and if I were you I would be happy with the fact that you, like many of us, are getting a chance to hear him when you think of him by playing such an awesome CD. His best is all here on one CD.

Dan Folgelberg will be missed. However, he will live on through his music. The stories he tells are quite unique opposed to the current trends. His lyrics reflect a personal passion for life, love and personal relationships. There is a lot to be learned from Folgelberg.

He touched my inner soul with a song that was close to home and reminded me of my Father, also a musician. That song is "The Leader of the Band". My eyes pool with tears each time I hear this intro. To me, this is my "Father" he is speaking of. There is a great passion that runs through his music and is felt by many. For this I am grateful to Dan Folgelberg.

I highly recommend this CD to everyone. It is one you will keep forever...

I ordered the cd after hearing he had passed away. It came to me in the mail very fast and was in perfect working order.

The recent death of Dan Fogelberg was a great loss to the music industry. His blend of harmonies in his greatest hits album is his signature. He sang from his soul and you would really feel the emotions from such titles as "Leader of the Band" a touching tribute to his father. We all felt the pangs of former loves and feel it again with "Same Old Lang Syne". But the one that I would call my favorite is the haunting and heart wrenching "Make Love Stay". When all seems right for the moment, according to the song, how can me make that feeling stay around forever? This is a beautiful and lasting tribute to Love and Longing for Love. Longer than there are fishes in the ocean, I am in love with you Dan Fogelberg!

This is a great collection of Dan Fogelberg's hits. It is a good representation of Fogelberg's musical talent and diverse sound.

I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoyed this artist's music. I played the CD on a recent business trip and unfortunately my car was stolen with the CD inside. It was not recovered. I was, then, sorry that I had taken it with me. I shall have to try again.

I've always liked Dan Fogelberg but never had one of his CDs until now. It's definitely one of my favorite albums! I may even buy another by this artist in the near future. There wasn't even one song in it that I didn't like!
