Greatest Hits by Bob Seger (CD, Oct-1994, Capitol/EMI Records)

his CD is a must have for all the Bob Seger's fans, as it will take you back in time with some of his very best, and our favorite, songs. I bought this album, yes album, when it was first released back in the 70's. It was a great album then but when I heard it had been released on CD, I knew I had to have it. I am so glad that I did. It sounds absolutely amazing in digital. This CD has most of the Oldies like " Mainstreet ", "Still The Same", and " Turn the Page" only now they're all crystal clear. You will really appreciate hearing the very talented Seger on the piano and guitar, with The Silver Bullets playing backup, on the horns and drums... Seger's vocals never sounded better on this rendition of "Turn the Page"! As if that wasn't already enough, We also get to hear some of Seger's newer songs. " Like A Rock", who some will remember hearing in the Ford truck commercials, Also, included is a song that Seger wrote for his son Cole called " In Your Time" This is a great CD. One of my very favorites. Seger has one of those rare voices that you recognize as soon as you hear it. You won't be disappointed with this 14 song POWERHOUSE.
