I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cd and was very delighted when it came! It was even better than I expected. I originally just wanted the Tabernacle Choir's version of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and didn't really look at the rest of the songs. When I played it and realized it contained the 'cream of the crop' of nostalgic favorites I was extremely excited. The whole cd inspires, stirs, and comforts beyond words to describe. It was also in new condition and came quickly.

What a terrific remembrance recording! That is, I bought a 45rpm of Battle Hymn of the Republic when it was a current hit back in the Nifty Fifties. My acne-scarred soul was aroused by it then, and it still is. In retrospect, renaming Ave Maria is a turn-off, but most of the tunes are just great, Standards that most of them all are. Broadway tunes from a Mormon choir, you may wonder? They stand up well. Hats off to the arrangers and conductors!

This CD is another proof of why The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is called America's Favorite Choir. The titles included are beautiful, patriotic hymns and old-time favorites from many countries, the movies, and the stage from the 1970's to the present. I recommend it to everyone for any day of the year.

I love the songs and the choir, I do not like that the songs are not recored with the same volume on each song, I have to ajust the volume control as some are low and some are loud, I enjoy listening to the choir very much, and the songs are a great selection.
