Great Toy Train Layouts (DVD, 2 Disc Set)

I bought the dvd weeks ago and watched it the night I received it. I collect and run toy trains for a hobby. Overall it was interesting to see all those old toy trains and accessories that go with them. I wanted to see different layouts because I am in the process of beginning a new layout. I also liked the fact that it still had it's factory seal on it. The price would be about same as if you purchased it at a train show.

This is a fun DVD to watch to get inspired about trying some new techniques and refreshing your layout. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Very entertaining and well worth the few bucks that it cost.

I own a number of the TM Books and Videos titles on both VHS and DVD. This title contains the same great level of action and information as seen in all their productions. For those who just like to watch trains run to those who like coverage of accessories, you will not be disappointed in this one. Many of those interviewed gave an honest account of accessories in that sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t. You don’t often see this type of honesty in a product that promotes something. The only thing that stands out to me is that as some of this footage is from the past before the modern methods of video capture, the quality is not as good as the newer productions. This, however, is not a problem, as it does not take away from the information presented or the enjoyment.
