Synopsis
All 10 of Roger Zelazny's classic Amber novels are concatenated in THE GREAT BOOK OF AMBER. The first five books feature the first-person narrative of Prince Corwin, the tough-talking, silver-and-black wearing master swordsman who, like his royal brothers and sisters, boasts magical powers, superhuman strength, and a weakness for visiting the "shadow" world of Earth, where he fenced at Heidelberg, hung out with Einstein, and dated a whole lot of women. The second group is told from the point of view of Corwin's gentler, Berkeley-educated sorcerer son, Merlin, who was born and raised in the Courts of Chaos, but went to college in California. Fans of Zelazny's Amber books will be delighted to have the entire series bound together in one hefty volume.
