Naturally, if you like the music of JLL, the music in this movie is "rockin." There are some points that may be a little less family oriented, but overall it is a good portrayal of the JLL story.

I love a movie that tells a good story. This movie does that and then some. Movies that take place in a time when no one was paying so much attention. Nothing really seems to be as sinful as it is today. The stories are better and the endings are a little more unexpected. This was in a day when people lived like they did not care what anyone thought. And watched with their eyes mouth closed. Living like he was dying.

Great Movie!!! Love the history of SUN recording Artist "Jerry Lee Lewis". Just moved out here to Memphis and is still learning the much history this city has. I have "Walk the Line" and now "Great Balls of Fire"

Great Balls of Fire-was an excellent movie about Jerry Lee Lewis. I saw it on regular tv and said this is a must have. Where Jerry Lee had a music career and when he was just getting popular he goes and marries his cousin who was 13.
Then goes to Great Britain and they don't understand that Jerry Lee is married to his cousin and then they are forced out of the country to go back to the US
and the reception there isn't that good either as his popularity went down hill just as he returned with the country.

It's a must see movie! The music was all original!

I love this movie. I have always been a big fan of Jerry Lee Lewis. I watched this movie for the first time when I was about 16 years old. I have it on VHS also but I like watching it so much I wanted a copy on DVD. Even my children ages 9-11 years old love watching Jerry Lee work his magic on that piano.

This movie reveals a changing time in American Music where influences merged to form the new sounds of rock and roll. It shows the explosive life of Mr. Lewis and his conflicts, yet it remains true to the musical genius of Mr. Lewis. My teenage son wanted to learn about Mr. Lewis, so I bought the DVD. We enjoyed sharing it with each other - even to the point my teenage son learned the title song and is performing it at parties, events, for entertainment and fun. I recommend this dvd for everyone.

I loved this movie and finally buying it on dvd made me love it even more. There aren't very many special features, but just owning this classic movie was enough for me.

My younger sister Kayse used to watch this movie everyday when we were little. She was obsessed with Jerry Lee Lewis. One day I logged on to do some Christmas shopping and I found this. She hasn't seen the movie in years, and I had no idea that it was out on DVD, so I knew I had to bid and win it. I loved seeing this product on ebay, because I could find something for my sister for Christmas that I knew she would appreciate, and actually do something with. Seeing her face when she opened her gift was great. She watched it twice Christmas day.

Not very happy at all, my purchase was confirmed on 8/8/06 when I place and paid for the order. I didn't receive anything for the next two weeks, so I decided to e-mail the company I purchase from "northcoast", and my order hadn't even been shipped, I then received a confirmation that my order shipped on 8/24/06. I wonder if I hadn't e-mail this company, I probably wouldn't have even received my order. So it took 22 to 23 days to get my order, not good business at all.
