Grease (DVD, 2002, Widescreen)

John Travolta and Olivia Newton John made this classic movie a hit not with their acting or storyline but from their music.
The music is by far the best thing about this. The movie itself is more about having sex to please your boyfriend or not than anything else. And Travolta and John are a bit old to be in high school. But the music and the comedy are fantastic. There is not one song that is not enjoyable.
The 1950s look like lots of fun with fast cars and crazy antics.
I've watched this at least 5 times and I would not hesitate to buy it. I would watch it again and again. It's definitely one That I Want!!

I have loved this movie for as long as it has been out. I used to be a little John Travolta when I was a kid. Dancing to Greased Lightning was what all the kids were doing. It was also a cool way of getting away with saying bad words in front of your parents. (HA-HA!) Words that rhyme with IT. Grease also took you to another place and time. Things were more pure and simpler than today. This movie just has a way of making you feel good. I highly recommend it. Go out there and DANCE!!! GO! GO! GO! GO!go Gogogogogogogogo go greased lightning your burning up the quarter mile. Greased Lightning! GOOO GREASED LIGHTNING!

Funny you should ask about this one........I NEVER RECEIVED IT!! I understand the seller is no longer an eBay seller. I don't remember how much I paid -- less than $15.00 anyway -- so I decided it was too much of a hassle to try and get it back. However, I did learn a valuable lesson......always check feedback if less than 100%.

I fondly remember both Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta in this timeless classic which grabbed my heart back in the late 70's. This movie is easy to watch time and time again and contains fun, musical numbers and lots of actors who went on to become big television and movie stars.

Randal Kleiser helms this musical and his fondness for John Travolta was seen in the earlier "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" which I also enjoyed tremendously. Kleiser also directed "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid" and later the "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" short which is playing many times a day at the Universal Studios amusement park ride.

I enjoyed seeing legends such as Eve Arden, Frankie Avalon but also the future stars such as Jeff Conoway who later went on to act in the series "Taxi".

Tons of fun, lots of laughs and plenty of good lessons to be learned from this never-ending-hit.

This probably my all time favorite Musical, It is fun and has very lively songs, you just can't help but sing along to Greese lightning, Sandra Dee, Greese is the Word, Summer lovin' and so many More!!!

Everyone I know loves Grease. The songs are catchy and I can remember singing them since I was 12 (and I'm 41 now). The movie/musical had stood the test of time as it is still enjoyed by many people today. I bought it for my daughter and she loves singing along with the movie. SHe's about the same age I was when I first saw it.

John Travolta is a favorite of mine. He was charming and Olivia Newton John, sweet.

I love this movie and it makes it much easier to watch it in a DVD player then trying to get a VCR that might work or might not work.

Anyone who hasn't seen this movie needs to get up right now and go to the nearest video rental and rent it. It is one of the best shows of all time and is such a classic! I must have seen it over a hundred times now and know all of the dances and even own the soundtrack! It's such a cute movie and I highly recommend it! Go grease lighting!

This movie has stood the age of time,it is a real classic.My children have enjoyed watching this movie (even with their friends).My parents have enjoyed watching this movie as well. It has it all wrapped up in this one great movie.It's a musical,drama,action,humor and a great love story.It's a movie favorite in our house and sure to be one in yours.The actors all give a great performance and well directed and written.You'll find yourself singing and dancing along with the movie and be drawn up into their lives.

I recrieved my VHS very fast. Very good seller. Love my tape. I have watch it a couple of times and love the movie. Im sure I will watch it again and again several more times in the furture, it is a classic. The VHS is in very good shape for being a used item. I think I will buy again from this seller.

This is one of my Wife's Favorite movies. It is a Musical starring a young John Travolta and the Hot Pop star of the time Olivia Newton-John. This is packed with songs you and your kids will sing over and over. My wife still stops everytime this is rerun on TBS or the Like. We wanted to share this with our 8 year old daughter so we bought a copy. Highly recommended!!!

This is an all time favorite movie. I needed to replace my original VHS tape! Having all my favorite movies on DVD is very important to me. Who wants to stop and rewind to an unknown part in a movie - what a waste of time!

The movie Grease never is old it is a classic and this particular DVD has all the words to the songs and my 7 year old loves it!

I bought it for my 11 yr old grandson he saw it and loved it..I saw it myself when I was younger and liked it as well.The movies today are so violent so when he said he liked it got it for him for Christmas..

An excellent musical, with wonderful sing-a-long lyrics and beat that just never ends, yet also has an excellent story line. This movie has it all, in one jazzed up package!
