Grease 2 (DVD, 2003)

Grease 2 what a great movie. If you enjoy musicals this one is for you. Grease was great but this by far is better and a more modern musical, love and learnig film. I bought this for my tween and teenage daughter feeling they would love it as much as I do being is is one of my favorite all time movies. They just love it and watch it on average 5 to 6 times a week. The four year old got in on the act and sings and dances with all the great songs and music. Michelle Phiffer was great in this role pairingwith Adrian Zmed and of course the original office ladies who could ever forget Miss MCGee. Need a night of grea fun pull up a chair and pop in this all time great and see how long it takes before you are toe tapping and bee bopping along to this hit from 1982.

I purchased this DVD for my niece. She had been looking for it and could not find it anywhere. She really likes the movie. She has the original Grease DVD
and wanted this one to complete her collection. She also has the original music cds for both movies. We watched the movie together and it is very enjoyable. The music is delightful and the costumes were great. The whole storyline is quite amusing and touching. A sheer delight for all!

This was a Very Unamaginative sequil to an amazing Musical - movie, with a lack-luster performance from Phifer and cast, I do not recomend

The reason i bought this movie is cause i saw Grease and had to see what the sequal was like. Its almost the same story line except this time its Sandy's cousin who is attending to rydell and he falls in love with the hot wild sexy mischelle pheipher. She wants a rought tough motorcyle rider so can he live up to her expectations. Guess ull have to watch it and find out. Wonderful casting definitly will love this movie for ever and ever.

First, I love the musical aspect of it. I love the singing, the dancing. Now the actors and actresses were another story. I did not buy the entire role of Michelle Pfeifer. Fortunately for us, she has grown into her own as an accomplished actress. The hard role she played was almost annoying. Oh by the way, the cute guy trying to fit in, was just adorable. It was also good to see the old teachers and some of the old gang except for (excuse the spelling) Kinniki, what is he like 90 years old now. That was simply ridiculous. It also had more sexual innuendos than the last one but I would rate it average/good. I bought it for my 11 year old and she loves it so I need'nt say more.

I loved this DVD. This is my daughters favorite movie-(other than the original Grease). I couldn't find it anywhere. SO I looked it up on Ebay-and there it was! I got it for an awesome price and it was shipped right away.

I love the music and cool outfits in movie.

The only reason I bought this DVD was to give it as a gift for my sister who enjoys this movie , and wanted a replacement of her VHS copy.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD BECAUSE IT WAS MY HUSBAND'S FAVORITE MOVIE AS A CHILD. MY HUSBAND LOVES IT. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED.

John Travolta & Olivia Newton John were an extemely hard act to follow but these guys did it pretty darn good! As I stated on Gease 1 I am not a huge musical fan but these guys make it work. Makes you want to sing & dance along too!

I love Grease and Grease 2. They are amazing! I know every song and I can sing and dance along to it. Whoever does not like these movies, has never really watched them. Also my cousin performed this on stage.

Too often, sequels to popular films simply rehash the original film; call it the carbon-copy syndrome. Grease 2 suffers from no such malady, having almost nothing to do with the original film. Sure, it focuses on teens at Rydell High, the imaginary school from the first film, which starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. But other than a few of the teachers, all of the characters are new and so are the songs--and more's the pity. By the time Grease hit the big screen, it already had had almost a decade as a theatrical musical, more than enough time to hone its mock-rock & roll score. But this sequel, which stars among others a then-unknown Michelle Pfeiffer, Maxwell Caulfield, and Lorna Luft (Judy Garland's daughter), has music that's neither fish nor fowl, neither rock nor Broadway. Meanwhile, the plot is a reversal of the first film, in which a cool guy fell for a square girl. In this one, the square is newcomer Caulfield, who catches the eye of tough girl Pfeiffer and her Pink Lady gang. The appearance of such pseudo-stars of the '50s, like Tab Hunter, is supposed to lend a nostalgic kick, but let's just say that Grease 2 slides almost instantly into obscurity.

Good Product and was a good price and good quality. The product was shipped fast. The product was brand new as it was stated. I was happy with the end product and really enjoyed watching it again in DVD.

The songs in Grease 2 are not as memorable as those in Grease 1, although I did like "Cool Rider" and "Girl For All Seasons." Maxwell Caulfield & Michelle Pfeiffer were attractive, but didn't have quite the star power of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Nevertheless, this musical was fun to watch, if you don't take it too seriously. If you DO stop to analyze it, movies like Grease, Grease 2, and Cry-Baby aren't as harmless as they first appear, since it is always the "square" kid who must "go bad" in order to be cool and find true love. For once, why can't a bad kid clean up her act --- or accept people the way they are? At least Grease 2 gets props because it's the BOY who has to change, rather than the usual scenario of the GIRL changing to please a guy. In that sense, Grease 2 is more feminist and progressive than Grease 1. But mainly it's a movie to watch for fun without over-thinking it too much.

LOVE this movie! It's not quite as good as Grease 1, but still way up there. One of my favorites! It's been on cable a lot lately, but it is so chopped up on TV, that I just had to buy it for my collection.

I AM A BIG FAN OF THIS GOOFY MOVIE . MY SON AND I WERE WATCHING IT ON TV AND WHEN THE TYPICAL INTURPTIONS OF TV ADDS CAME ON I SAID TO HIM LETS JUST BUY IT . SO I JUMPED ON EBAY AND FOUND IT FOR A GREAT PRICE THAT I COULDNT PASS ON SO I GRABBED IT UP . THE MOVIE ARRIVED VERY FAST THE CASE WAS CRACKED BUT I THINK IT WAS THE MAIL SYSTEM NOT THE PRODUCT . THE MOVIE WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND I HAD NO COMPLAINT ABOUT IT AT ALL !!! WE HAVE ENJOYED IT SEVERAL TIMES NOW AS ON OF THOSE FLICKZ WE THROW IN WHEN THERE IS NOTHING ON TV AND WANA JUST CHILL WITH SOM POPCORN !!! THANX FOR ALL AND I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT !!!

I really liked this item because it was at a low price, the shipping was fast, and was brand new and factory sealed. I didn't reallly dislike any thing about this item.
