BACK OF BOOK SAYS:
IT SHOULD BE THE BEST TIME OF half vampire cat crawfield's life. with her undead lover bones at her side, she's successfully protected mortals fromt he rogue undead. but thought cat's worn disguise after disguise to keep her true identity a secret from the brazen bloodsuckers her cover's finally been blown placing her in terrible danger.
as if that wasn't enough a woman from bones past is determined to bury him once and for all. caught in the cross hairs of a vengeful vamp, yet determined to help bones stop a lethal magic from being unleashed. cat's about to learn the true meaning of bad blood. and the tricks she's learned as a special agent won't help.
ok, what's with the vamps going out side in the day time? that is like my biggest pet peeve. but anyway...............
it's a very good book, weird to see whom cat's mom choose as boyfriend.
interesting too see vlad, could have made a little more of that.
not sure about this situation with tate.
interesting loyalty pledge of all the vamps to cat. this is kinda left hanging, there are so many ways to play this out. probably in later books.
i'm not all into the zombie/ghoul thing so you have lost me there some.
would like to see cat and bones connection strengthed, instead of always being tested.
it's still nice to have an author who is talented enough to write a multi layered plot. you don't see that very much now a days.
And she's still able to pull it off successfully after 3 novels. Very consistent. Not many authors can do that.
