The Grasshopper Trap is my favorite of the half dozen of the McManus books I have read. Humor, clean and simple that I relate too is a wonderful thing. Anyone of the stories, it's hard to pick a favorite. Excellent reading on a rainy or snowy day around the house. Excellent for the youth that is grandpa's favorite. Highly recommended.

The Grasshopper by Patrick F. McManus ( 1985)Patrick F, McManus is my favorite outdoor humor author I really love to read his tails of the outdoors as he see it. When he blends the present with his boy hood youth for a story it get's real funny. The great thing is you van pick up his books cheap on E bay and I'm slowly getting them all. A fun read, Mike
