Grant Writing for Dummies by Beverly A. Browning (2005, Paperback)

Grant Writing for Dummies was the book that my wife is using in a class being used by the teacher who is the one who wrote the book. From what my wife says, the book makes understanding grant writing as easy as learning one plus one is two. The book is a must for those who know little to nothing about writing a grant.

I THINK ALL THE "FOR DUMMIES" BOOKS ARE PRETTY WELL DONE. THEY USE HUMOR TO HOLD YOUR ATTENTION. THIS BOOK IS ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS I THINK. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS AWHILE

I ordered this book for a friend of mine. I had the book sent to her address. I had not done this in the past, as I always had the book sent to me. This worked great and she received the book with no problems. She is enjoying the book.

I have opened this book four times to read it. Each and every time I opened it, I read about 10 pages and it always puts me to sleep. Granted, no pun intended, that I am already familiar with what has been covered in the first few chapters but I am really hoping to learn something from it beside what color the inside of my eyelids are.

It is very informative if you are an organization looking for funds. I was looking for a book that generally helps college students, or individuals looking for grant oppportunities. This book does give you a lot of tips for grant writing in general, and worth the investment. Also a good transaction.

Very good descriptiion of the grant writing process. Showed a lot of ideas that you would not gather on your own. I intend to profit with book and the world of grant writing.

This text is the typw of manual that starts at the beginning. It is for those of us that never had a chance to attempt to write a grant, or have been instructed on what to say. This should be considered the best place to start.
