Granny Quilt Decor by Darlene Zimmerman (2004, Paperback)

I purchased this book a couple months ago. I had seen it at a library and although I am on a limited budget and rarely buy quilt books I decided this was one I would like for my personal library. I was not disappointed!! I would like to try almost all of the patterns - most often a book has only one or two that I would actually like to make. I shopped on ebay and waited until I found one at a reasonable price. I love 30's reproduction type prints and this book incorporates these in its patterns. The patterns just have a fun, fresh look! It appears to be an easy to use book. I guess the only negative I have is that I should have purchased a hard back book as I expect it to get a lot of use!!

Great quilt book that is easy to understand. Has nice designs and patterns. Well worth adding to my collection of period quilt patterns! I bought the book because I have an interest in quilting of past eras--i.e. 1930's-1950's.
