Unsung Comedy Genius
Review created: 02/13/09(updated 02/13/09)

Just might be my favorite comedy of all time! Unlike some movies that might be put in the same catagory like Super Troopers, Half Baked, Beerfest or Dude, Where's My Car?, Grandma's Boy keeps the laughs on high from beginning to end. The cast has played backup to Adam Sandler in a list of kinda funny movies that are much more well known, but this sleeper has become a classic in its own right. The story is simple and silly, the characters ridiculous and hilarious, and the flow is right on. I never get tired of watching it. The three copies of Grandma's boy I just purchased are probably actually numbers 22-25. This movie is so funny I give it as a gift whenever the chance arrises, especially cause so many people have never seen or even heard of it. I know this review says nothing about what actually happens in the movie, as I would do it no justice in trying to describe the plot in my own words. But what I can say is that I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this flick to anyone looking for a laugh-so-hard-your-stomach-aches-smile-so-much-your-face-hurts-grab-the-chips-and-sour-patch-kids comedy.
