What's not to like about a trio of garage band wannabees crankin' up the amps and rockin' the house? 20 years before Nirvana these guys were makin' loud and rockin' proud.

This CD is a great find. If you like great guitar playing, this is one to have. This group was so good but the music was so limited, just not enough. It rocked in 1969 and it still does!!

This is the album that guaranteed my devotion to Rock n' Roll...way back when I was a kid. Soulful, singable songs that make me feel good! I can't get enough of the FUNK!!!Any fan of old-school, fuzzy guitar will love this.

Hey, Mister limosine driver, I know you know, where it's at! This is Grand Funk, at it' BEST... This is my very (first) Album. The Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, "STINKS" without this band...GRAND FUNK RAILROAD needs Mark Farner.

Grand Funk will never get the respect they deserve.In their first album;raw,yes,sometimes tinny,but this is what energy and spirit is all about. If you love guitar and the evolution of musicians then this is definitely Specimen 'A'.Not only do you witness the future stylings of the band but you'll get to hear what a difference an instrument makes.The 'Messenger' that Mark Farner was playing sounds like a tin can with strings.Don Brewer's drumming is reserved, if you can believe it, and Mel Schacher sounds the most professional of them all. Take that note and the last time I saw the band with the Original Three-what a difference-all good if your a Funker.

I have always been a fan of Grand Funk Railroad and was Very Pleased when I recieved my cd. It was every bit as good as I had remembered it from all them years ago. The sound quality is great! If you are a GFR fan, then maybe give this a try.
