Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (Playstation 3, 2008)

I am really happy I won this game on ebay. This game is not worth the retail value. There is no car customization available at all.

Never buy a game that is a japanese import! Like the previous Gran Turismo, the graphic is beautiful but nothing
special. In fact, I feel like playing the previous Gran Turismo. I was
hoping something stunning, something that would make me say Wow. In my
opinion, this is still a good game.

The good... fantastic graphics! Game play is better than ever!

The not so good... it's a little hard to navigate through the menu options. No ability to modify your cars.

I'm looking forward to the full version of GT5!

Perfect deal fun to play One of the best sony games cars drive relistically only drawback is it take a little while to load and go thru all the classes

Pros:

-Very Realistic, both visually and driving wise. (Just the way I like it).
-"Douche Bags" that be Jack Assing around on multiplayer is limited (Very Big + because they are everywhere nowadays).
-A lot of downloadable content hence GT TV which features Top Gear which is freaking awesome.
-71 different cars on a demo disc.
-Solid Soundtrack.

Cons:

-Is not like an Arcade setup hence (Grid, NFS, PGR, GTA etc...)
-Unable to set your own specific race for you and your friends, which prevents you to lock out Douche' Bags from entering and ruining your gaming experience.
-Jack Assing around on multiplayer is limited (Very Big Minus for Douche' Bags because they just suck at racing more or less at driving).
-Lagging may be an issue with different servers during online play.
-No Damage of any sort...yet
-Does not have half the "player interactivity features" compared to Forza.

Overall:

The game plays great whether single or multiplayer. It does not disappoint because after all, it is only a peek before they release the final product in 2010 and by then, all the bugs and glitches should be honed and tweaked out of the game in its entirety.

This game looks amazing, and is excellent if you like racing simulators. If you prefer arcade style racing, look elsewhere. I find the lack of damage to cars to be a drawback however - some dents and dings would add to the experience.

Obviously this its only a Demo of the full game that is due out so there are many missing elements, (upgrading parts and so on. But in the mean time this game will do until the full version is released. I have a Logitech force feedback steering wheel and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable. If you have a 1080p capable TV and are remotely interested in cars, I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fine game with great graphics very fun to play both solo and online. It is a little slow getting loaded up and to gather money to buy new cars. Not very zippy with the little underpowered calls . Even do it is the best GT game ever

This Games could have beeb a Great game but it had one Major Flaw... There is no car damage and this was a huge disappoint. If I was to score this game here is what I think.

Sorry Sony but Destruction Derby from the PS1 should have been a clue that Gamers love to see their car smashed and bashed with debris laying on the track!!!

Sure Hope GT6 is going to include physical damage and affect the way the car handles>>>>>>; Hence FORZA 1 and 2 for the Xbox 360 Hit it on the Nail....

Seemed like I beat the game then it opened up anouther level, really a nice surprise. Still no damage like a true sim but anouther great Gran Turismo Addition.

This game is a good game even if it does not have damage.

Detail to the cars tracks and everything is soooo good

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I may not be an enthusiast in the world of games so I'm not an expert. The reality is I bought this game for my 3 yr old to play. We have one of the Logitech steering wheels to add to the realism of this game. In short the graphics for the game are amazing. We had a very good surround sound system and the sound with this game is realistic. The sound is of the same quality that I find with Blue Ray movies. I dabble in this game so my son and I can upgrade on cars. This game is no different that others that the more you win the more credits you earn to buy more expensive cars. My only problem with the game is I wish there were more courses to race. The extend I believe the five or six courses by racing the course in the opposite direction. In all the graphics and sound are superb for this game.

I really like all of the gran turismo games. They are by far the best racing games that you can buy anywhere and this is the best of them so far. I bought it because I liked all the others so much

This game has awesome picture and the realistic car dynamics just blow me away. I cant wait for the full game to come out.

great game, you can play it on line even. graphics are great its almost like the real thing. don't like the fact that you can not make custom changes to the cars like in the old ones.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (Playstation 3) i was a little disapointed with the game....the graphics are great...but gran turismo 4 is still a much better pick. no classic cars in this one...not realistic as in part 4 with switching of the tires and fueling up...good racing game but does not surpass gt4

very good game and what a deal... THe game is a lot of fun and not as hard as some of the other racing games. It is a must have for any racing fan...
