Gran Turismo 4 by Prima Temp Authors (2005, Paperback)

Where this strategy guide shines is in its course descriptions and defining different tuning options for vehicles. The guides for the license tests are adequate but could add a bit more insight and detail. Where the strategy guide lets me down is in the lack of reviews when it come to the different driving series and events. I know there are a lot of events and series in this game but they could at least take some space in the guide to point out the more challenging ones. In fact the majority of the book is comprised of over 100 pages worth of manufacturer's notes, that while informative, does not give one any edge or advantage. It's there more for advertising each manufacturer's vehicles than anything else. I found some online walkthroughs to be more informative at times than the guide, which defeats the purpose buying a guide in the first place.
