The Graduate (DVD, 1999, Special Edition; Contemporary Classics)

IT WAS A VERY COOL 60,S MOVIE AND THE FACT THAT THE NEW RELEASE OF "RUMOR HAS IT" WAS SOME WHAT LIKE A SEQUEL TO IT WAS THE REASON I BOUGHT IT NOW. IT DEFINITELY IS A CLASSIC. GREAT ACTORS AS WELL STAR IN IT.

I purchased the movie because I have an older sister who has never seen it, and I thought she would enjoy the movie as much as my mom and I did. We sure hope that my sister likes it, too.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT AND TELL ME WHY???

If you've never seen The Graduate you are truly missing out. This is the film that made Dustin Hoffman a star. Its funny, quarky and has an excellent musical score by Simon and Garfunkel. This is an absolute must for your DVD collection.

This was a gift for a friend of mine. She had been looking for this particular Special Edition of The Graduate for a while. With the economy how it is right now, she couldn't afford to pay $30 for it somewhere else. I loved the low price and the FREE SHIPPING!! She was so excited about it. She hadn't seen the movie since she was a teen and said it was even better than she remembered. Thanks for helping me, make her day.

The DVD arrived promptly and in good condition. It appears to be an orriginal in the orriginal factory wrapping, (not a copy). It plays perfectly.I bought it on eBay because I live in a mountainous, rural area and there are only a limited number of retailers for DVDs in the area. I figured the chances of them having an old one were slim to none.

I bought this movie for a guy at work who is younger then I and has a crush on me. It's a joke. The rest of the staff we work with are saying that it remindes them of the Graduate. Well this guy has never seen the movie, so I bought it for him as his wedding present. I know he will enjoy it. Thanks

Years ago I saw The Graduate. I was impressed by it, as why I bought it. The Graduate made Dustin Hoffman a star, but presently seeing it I found myself on the disappointed side. There were scenes that did not have much logic like when Benjamin takes Elain to a topless nightclub. And driving over sidewalks did not seem very mature. These things turned me off if anything. However the songs in it I've always liked spiced up the DVD.

I liked that I was able to find this particular movie on DVD, as it was made probably 30+ years ago. I decided to buy it - although I had to fight off another person that wanted the DVD, because it was reasonably priced.
