Graco 8A00PSN Infant Car Seat - Pierson

This is one of the best seats I have ever owned (and this is my third child). My first two children grew out of their infant carrier seats at FOUR months old, so I am so loving this seat just for the simple fact of not having to buy a different carseat right now...He still fits in it and has like 4 inches and 10 pounds to grow (7 months old). The seat itself is very easy to install and I love the red and black with silver design (Georgia Bulldog fans here). The material stays very clean looking. The only cons I have is that this model did not come with a boot for the winter (I had to buy one separately) and the canopy is a pain in the rear because it is always falling behind the carrier getting in the way. Luckily it is very simple to take off and put back on, so I just keep it off unless I think I might need it that day. The buckles are wonderful, no sticking or catching. There is one thing that I don't really mind about, but I'm sure others might...The seat does not fit very well on shopping carts. Sometimes you have to let it sit sideways (Wal-mart's carts) instead of facing the pusher so it will sit securely. And Food Lion's carts (the large kind that are higher up in the air) I can't fit him in at all. I have to put him in the actual storage place of the buggy...Not good if you are trying to do some heavy duty shopping. LOL BiLo is another store I have issues with the cart and his seat. But I honestly don't consider these cons to horrible because all in all, this seat keeps me from having to buy a regular seat for a while and it is safe! :)

I purchased a Graco infant carseat after reviewing the many other options. The car sear comes with the base and easily snaps in and out of the base. You can operate the mechanism with one hand and quickly, which is crucial for a fussy baby! The car seat itself is red/black/gray and very sporty looking which made this also an easy pick as the 2nd seat for my husband's vehicle. I would recommend any type/design/model of Graco carseats to everyone. They are uncomplicated and user friendly and most importantly have a high safety rating.

This car seat is awesome! It's typically compared to the Chicco KeyFit30 seat. However, GRACO met all the safety standards and held up the best in front end car crashes!! In addition, the shade on the Graco covers almost the whole seat. Unlike the Chicco one that hardly covers the baby's head. I also liked that it was still very light since it carries larger babies. If you had a big baby like I did, you will be glad you got one that goes to 30lbs.
