Gospel Road (DVD, 2006)

\Excellent DVD. Makes you feel good to hear the words and music. I loved it.Anyone who wants to hear Johnny Cash sing about the Gospel and listen to his very humble expierence of the life of Jesus should have this DVD. You don't have to just sit and watch it,just put it in and listen to the words and music. Small children would beefit from this also.

I purchased Walk The Line (DVD) and inside the case cover, it said befor he walked the line, he walked the gospel road. That is what made me buy Gospel Road. I could only find the dvd in widescreen. I do not like widescreen. I like the movie, contents itself. I would recommend the dvd to anyone that likes these kind of movies, that is a fan of Johnny Cash.

I wanted to see how Johnny Cash presented this movie. It was worth it. He has condensed it from the four main gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and it covers almost everything but still remains a movie that is rated "G" so that all ages can view it. Jesus' life is presented in a loving way that all who see it will understand the Message. I will be lending it out to a lot of friends.

THE DVD DID NOT WORK. I ASKED THE SELLER TO SEND ME A REPLACEMENT AND I NEVER EVEN GOT A REPLY. IM NOT A CROOK. THEY SHOULD SEND ME A NEW DVD THAT WORKS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. IT IS NO WONDER THAT E-BAY IS SUCH A BIG SUCCESS. THANKS AGAIN.

I bought this DVD as a gift for my brother. He loves Johnny and June Cash. I could never find this at a video store. E bay has a large selection of unusual movies. Seller was great to deal with.

This is an excellent, inspiring movie. Very Powerful! It let's you see more into the heart of Johnny Cash and what his faith meant to him. Excellent transaction with the seller also!

I saw a Johnny Cash special on tv and they talked about this video. I love gospel music so found the video on ebay, ordered it, and have watched it several times. The delivery was very fast - less than a week. In the ebay listing, it did say there were 'extras' included with the video but I just got the video but I am very satisfied anyway! I like having access to ebay as I can find anything I want on their site. Or at least everything I have looked for! Thank you.

Purchased this for a friend...thought it would be more of Johnny Cash's story.
She said it was more of a narrative about Jesus. Very slow movie, not done very well. Good singing.

I saw this movie in the theater, back in the 70's when it first came out, and I loved it. It was equivalent, back then, to The Passion Of The Christ, from a few years ago. It was one, if not the first, movie that showed a "realistic" view of the crucifixion of Jesus. It had a profound effect on me then, and it still does. I was not a fan of Johnny Cash, but the music is AWESOME! That's why I also bought the soundtrack, (a double LP) many years ago.
I am so glad it came out on DVD, now I can watch again, and again!!!
(It was amusing to me that they have Jesus as a fair skinned, blonde);)

I saw the movie right after it was made and bought an LP of the sound track. I didn't I would ever see either one again. It is exactly the way I remember it and I am enjoying it.

The DVD was terrific. I saw the movie many years ago, but was great to now be able to have it in hand. I had also purchased the two record set when it came out, but much better watching it and hearing it together. GREAT DVD for any one wanting to see the life of Christ portrayed in the Holy Land.

Every Cash fan should own this dvd. Even if you aren't a country fan don't let get in the way of experiencing one of the most unique telling of the passion of the christ.
