I’m a big fan of this great band.
The best thing out them is that they have a great sense of humor as well as being good musicians. Each track is fresh both musically and vocally.
It a great CD to sing along to in the car!

I think this album, Everything To Everyone, and Maroon are their best albums. First of all, this album contains some of BNL's finest songs, including: Brian Wilson, Be My Yoko Ono, What A Good Boy, and If I Had $1000000. The vocal performance (as always) is fabulous here, along with the instruments. This album is a favorite in my collection, and it gets played quite frequently. 5/5!

I have been a Barenaked Ladies fan for many many years. Recently I wanted to complete my collection of their music on CD so I ordered Gordon. I love this disc because first of all the Barenaked Ladies are wonderful musicians. They blend their instruments in creative, interesting ways. Thier melodies and harmonies are delightful. They are rock solid musically. I am also thoroughly charmed by their lyrics. They are so true to life and clever. They sing about love as it really is....edgy, obsessive, on the lunatic fringe. Their songs are not full of gooey platitudes and syrupy phrases. When they have been loved and lost, they want revenge! Just like all the rest of us. One of my favorite songs on this disc is Wrap Your Arms Around Me. It has beautiful harmony and I love the lyrics. Why does he put his hands around her neck? Is it love or is he inviting her into the next life? It's a beautiful song. Take a musical journey with the Barenaked Ladies...you will love the trip. And then come back and buy the rest of their albums!
