I love all the Gooseberry Patch Christmas books. They are so well written and easy to follow. They are filled with ideas that anyone could do if they like to craft and cook.

I have other Gooseberry Patch Christmas books but I was missing this one. I bought it because of the price and the condition.

Gooseberry Patch Books are so down home country, interesting and fun to own! I can sit for hours & ponder all the great ideas presented in each album. Great recipes, crafting ideas for all ages, and everything is so well written, its just fun to spend an afternoon relaxing and planning what activity to get involved in next. I am trying to collect the whole set- I highly recommend these books, you won't be disappointed!!

Gooseberry Patch, in general, has quality merchandise and superb books. This book is no exception. This is the third annual publication of the Christmas series and it offers many new recipes, decorating ideas, and gift-giving ideas for the Christmas season. I am very impressed with the many ideas packed into each book but I have to admit that the directions for making some of their craft items leave a little to be desired. Either the materials are difficult to find or their directions are hard to understand. Many of the craft projects would be very difficult to do for a novice or young crafter. If you are looking for a single source for holiday ideas, this is a great book because the focus is not on just one area. Some of the Leisure Arts holiday books have a heavy emphasis on counted cross stitching or other sewing skill, but the Gooseberry Patch collection has ideas for the crafter, the quilter, the stitcher, and the cook. Additionally, there are ideas for all aspects of the holiday season -- from decorating to a holiday dinner to gift giving. Gift ideas include items for everyone on your list -- from the family pet to your neighbor and everything in between. Many projects cost very little and can be made with items on hand. Overall, this is a great purchase to add to your collection of holiday books.
