The Goonies (DVD, 2001)

This is an excellent movie that I watched when I was a kid. It is hilarious, everyone is so funny. Chunk is so cute, and funny. Mouth says the funniest things in spanish to Mikey's House-keeper. Mikey is so sweet, you really feel for him, and his friends. You will cheer them all on when they search for lost treasure. I hope you will love this movie, its a great adventure/comedy movie for everyone.

With all the role-models this film offers, the most important is that from everyday children facing real-life problems: from my perspective as a parent and an educator, bring this film out especially around Halloween without worry! It's not scary, but has thrills, for sure. Children seeing children allows them to be in the moment and offers them opportunities to open discussion about how they would do this or that to solve problems, independently. It definitely brings meaning to the importance of both teamwork and friendship, and in my opinion as an adult, you can't ask for a better film to demonstrate "how to" for children and students.

This is an all time classic for the baby boomers era it has some amazing graficts for its time and its a good movie for the whole family to get toghter and watch it has monsters pirates and a few looney goonies.

This for me is one of those movies that has stood the test of time and will continue to stand the test of time. This movie has something for everyone young and old. The young will love the fantasy behind the movie with the whole pirate treasure as the main theme. Older people will like the mild action in the movie with the car chase in the start of the movie and the criminals after the Goonies throughout the whole movie after the pirate treasure as well. I can honestly say that in my opinion there is not a dull moment on this movie which is a mojor plus. I could watch this movie everyday and not get tired of it. One of my favorite scenes is when the Goonies go plungeing down the water slide and hit the water at the bottom and turn around and see the pirate ship for the fist time it is a fantasy I would love to be apart of. There is also a hidden family mesage in it. From the car chase scene at the start of the film to the pirate ship floating off into the ocean at the end this movie is absolutly a must own for all.

Every year i find myself stumbling upon this movie at least once. I finally realized that just wasn't enough. So of course buying it was the next best thing. Believe me!! If there is any movie that you'll always remember watching again and again this is it. So do the truffle shuffle.... grab some popcorn.....and buy this flick

i feel that the product description was fair and acurate based on the actual product received. the starting bid and the shipping were both reasonable. i needed to find this movie for a childs christmas gift. i would purchase again from this seller.

this is a movie i grew up on my brothers and sister grew up on and now i own i so my kids and family can grow up on i great mystery for kids that will keep their interest

Bought it to give as a gift to my daughter and her children, it's a good family movie and they like to look at it on TV.

This is a movie that I enjoyed as a child and thought that my son would enjoy it as well. I really like the fact that it is a clean movie with no bad language. It is a movie that is great for the whole family to watch.

Admit it! When you were a kid, this is EXACTLY the kind of day you would want! I still would love for this to happen....exploring caves, finding a pirate ship, finding treasure, getting shot at by people who can't aim...when we finally let our son watch it, he kept it in the player for about a week straight. It was the only movie he would watch. It's still one of his favorites.

This was a gift formy boys..they have been wanting this on dvd for a while, but we could not find it in the stores...they were very excitied to see this on ebay...nice family type movie, the kids have watched many times...

This movie is so great and so classic. I hadn't seen it since I was little and recently bought it and laughed so hard at the kids and the "Truffel Shuffel". It's a must see for all generations!

The goonies is already a cult classic kid flick about a group of friends in search of pirate treasure. A fun movie and a good cast.

It was interesting seeing Josh Brolin and Sean Astin playing in their early films ... films that I remember from my childhood ... The Goonies is a fun action adventure film for the whole family ... 5 stars for movie lovers

Its a classic. Brings me right back to my childhood in the 80's. All the characters are interesting and the comedy timeless. A true gem.

A bit strange but very funny. Just enough laughter to make you remember that it is just a movie and just enough suspense to remind to keep you enthrawled. Steven King is a great director. Check it out and see what you think.

Watched this movie so much we actually wore out our VHS copy..so was time to replace it with a DVD. Lots of fun to watch, over and over again!!!

I've loved this movie since it's release, and have just never purchased it. I got tired of the TV version. The networks always cut too much out. So I was very happy to find it here!! Now I can watch it in it's entirety whenever I choose to.
If you like fantasy, "kids-rise-above" type movies, you'll love this one. It's rather like a kid's version of "Indiana Jones" with a pirate twist to it, & enough humor that the adults can enjoy as well. Plus you get to enjoy Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Kerri Green, Corey Feldman & Martha Plimpton in their early years. I never tire of this movie, especially when I need to escape from the "grown-up" world!!

This video is ful of suspence and humor. A a group of preteen and teen kids look for treasure, the stops along the way are very enteraining. The kids learn many life lessons as the try and save their home from forclouser. Q wonderful movie for kids of all ages.
