Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown (1991, Hardcover)

This is a wonderful classic picture book. Excellent for bedtime. The words and the pictures are both so calm and yet fun for the kids since they'll just look for the objects mentioned in the words. It contains less words, mostly can be understood by just looking at the pictures. Therefore, this book encourages creative thinking and imagination.

All my kids enjoy this book since they were little babies. I like the small 6x5 in version since it's just the right size for the little ones to read by themselve. Highly recommanded board book!!!

This lovely bedtime story has withstood the test of time. I bought it for my 3 year old granddaughter and it has become one of her favorites. The quiet, repetitive prose is lulling and peaceful. Drawings are somewhat old-fashioned but still meaningful to children. Definitely a classic.

I bought Goodnight Moon, because it is a great bedtime classic. I read the book slowly, in a dim room, my son knows it is time to go night night. Basically it is a simple book about saying goodnight and going to sleep.

I love this book. I buy them for baby gifts. Each baby I have boughten it for has literally worn the book out. My grandsons are ready for another one.

I received my book really fast. This book is a classic and I wanted my lil one to enjoy it also.

This is an all time classic. It goes through the whole house telling goodnight to everything. It is perfect to put a kid to bed because even though it is a bit repeatative it is still interesting. The repeatative nature will help a child go to sleep. This was read to me as a child and I read it to my little girl. It has been around for a while and is a best seller in the kids department at our local books a million and barnes noble.

I was looking for this book for my 2 1/2 year old who loves the moon!! I was pleased with the fast shipping and the ease of the transaction. The pages of the book seem a little yellowed. Besides that the book was in good condition.

My two daughters both love this book. Its been one of their favories since they were babies and my 3 year old still enjoys it. Its a great first book for new kids.

This book is treasure for children and those who read to them! So many precious bedtime hours were spent reading it to my son, then the joy as he learned to read it to me. Now he will read it to his own child... "Goodnight Moon" is a lovely classic and a sweet goodnight that endures.

My 2 year old loves this book. We read it over and over before bed and he even says the words with me...and adds goodnight to other things in the pictures that he sees.

this is my favorite all time children's book and would recommend it to any new mother. great for reading to a baby or toddler. it brings back wonderful memories of when my son was so small!!

I don't know what it is about this book -- perhaps it's the rhythm, the colorful images, the soothing sounds of the words of the goodnight poem -- but it mesmerizes my son. He melts into my arms each and every time we read it. He loves it. Whenever we go to the library and he sees it, he grabs it and won't let go. I check it out almost every time I go. (I've finally bought our own copy on eBay.) The board book is best for chunky little toddler hands. Goodnight Moon is essential for any child's storybook collection.

This is a cute book. My 2 1/2 year old love it. She likes to point out the items and say goodnight to all of them every night.

I bought this book for my child and we both immediatley loved it. Our child likes books, but is particular in favorites such as books with rhythm . This book was fun for both of us. We take turns reading it to each other and have fun pointing out and finding things in the green room. Great book to read! A must have to your child's library!

I Heard that small children like this book so I bought it for my 2 yr. old granddaughter. I have read it to her a few times and she likes it ok but doesn't seem to get to excited by it.

My granddaughter enjoyed the packing box the books were sent in as much as the books themselves...and so did I! The books are a perfect size for small hands.
