Special collection of two of the biggest (if not the two biggest!) disco acts of all time, joined together by their association with producers Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers. The tracklist reads like a disco hall of fame. Every single one of these tracks has become an era defining, sampled daily classic that has influenced all aspects of music from the moment of their creation up to the current day. The Edwards/Rodgers production team first became Chic in 1977, signing to Atlantic at the end of that year. Massive hits followed in "Le Freak", "I Want Your Love" and "Good Times". Then there was the collaboration with Sister Sledge which spawned the classics "He's The Greatest Dancer" (sampled in '98 by Will Smith on "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"), "We Are Family", "Lost In Music" and "Thinking of You". This set includes a second disc with remix versions of the great songs plus a megamix to appeal to 21st Century dancers.
