Good Singin' Good Playin' - Grand Funk Railroad CD

Grand Funk Railroads last album before they broke up. Originally sold only 80,000 albums and is considered a commercial disaster. BUT!
This CD was produced by Frank Zappa and contains his collaboration on the song Rubberneck! Which was NOT on the original album. Rubberneck contains the classic Zappa vocal harmoney as well has his wit and humor! Zappa also plays a soaring lead guitar on "out to get you" also. Two other songs worth mentioning are a great dance song "can you do it" (an old Contours song).
Finally "don't let 'em take your gun" should be the national anthem for the NRA!
Grand Funk Railroad started off as a Hard-Rock band rivaling (but not in the same class) as Led Zeppelin, with long ballads, guitar riffs and "statement" songs. Then, for some odd reason transformed itself into a "pop" band perhaps to try and get more time on the AM pop charts. (They succeeded to a degree in this regard.)
The CD has enough songs to warrant it a BUY
