Add on to "Good to Great" book

In Collins' typical style, he gets right to it. This additional information applies his "Good to Great" philosophies to the public and non-profit sectors. However, he does suggest that the two books be read together; so if you have not read the original "Good to Great," get that and read it first.
What I like about Collins' work is that it is founded in research. I have not read the quantitative data to confirm that it had statistically significant results, but it seems to be well researched, over a long period of time, and thus credible.
My husband happens to work for a Nucor company, one of the 11 great companies showcased in the book. I can honestly state that Nucor is everything Collins says it is. It is a pleasure to be affiliated with such a company.
If you want your company to be great, or you want to be a great leader/manager, then read this book. This is NOT a "management practice book of the month" fad-type book. If you approach it as such, you are not leader material. :>)
