Gone With the Wind
I saw the movie first, and wanted to read the book. Margaret's book has more detail and character's in it. You learn about the other children that Scarlett had before Bonnie.
The book is so rich in detail, it makes you feel that you are actually there in that time and space. I almost felt like I was Scarlett, there with Miss Melly giving birth to Bo, toiling in the field for food, escaping the fire of Atlanta. But most of all, feeling the arms of Rhett around me!!
I laughed, cried, became angry, felt hatered, rejected and I felt love! I can't put into words all of the feelings I felt. It was kind of like a roller-coaster, up and down, side-to-side, exelerating
