Keeps you guessing throughout the book. The characters are interesting with many layers. If you haven't read her other books your missing out on some good entertainment. She is one of my favorite authors!!! And I can't wait for the next book to come out!

) I could not wait any longer on the library list. Lisa Garner knows how to cature her reading audience and keep them enthralled. Her fast moving charaters are wonderful. Each book is able to be read individually and enjoyed even a second time around.I hope this one is made into a TV version.

The story line in this book is as great as all her books have been. I read this one first and had to go back and read her other books. Great author and I can not wait to get her new book that is coming soon. I have already ordered it.

I have read all of Lisa Gardener's books. This one was just okay. I felt that it was too predictable. I figured out who the kidnapper was very early on.

This book is intense and keeps you reading through the night. It is part of a series but you can read it by itself and not be lost like in some books by other authors. I have become an avid fan of Mrs. Gardner after reading her books. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes suspense with a bit of romance tied in.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED, NEW BOOK CLUB EDITION, PRICE WAS RIGHT IN LINE AND SHIPPING WAS NOT INFLATED (VERY IMPORTANT), I DON'T MIND PAYING WHAT AN ITEM IS WORTH, BUT PAYING AN INFLATED SHIPPING CHARGE WILL MAKE ME GO RIGHT TO THE NEXT ITEM.

I found this book to keep my interest and enjoyed the characters. Law enforcement has a crime hit home. The kidnapping victim, husband and daughter all work in law enforcement and this brings in even more twists and turns to the plot. The characters are real and are described in a way to allow the reader to care for them. This book kept me guessing until the end and is a thoroughly enjoyable read. I recommend it.
