Goliath and the Dragon (DVD, 2001)

What can one say about these old Italian muscle man movies?
Well, I'm not gay (not that there is anything wrong with that!) so I can't really comment on the so-called "homoerotic content" some critics seem to go on about, but I always enjoyed the heck out of these things when I was a kid & growing up would have done anything to have a big, buff & most importantly STRONG body like that (except, of course, do any actual exercise...).
And once again Something Weird Video has gone the extra mile to give use a great double feature with tons of extras with the films themselves (or at least the title main feature) having never looked better.
Lots of cool extras too, including a ton of trailers & a gallery of original poster art as well as a trio of short features including "Sons of Hercules vs. the Fire Monsters", which edits down one of the lesser Italian imports involving dinosaurs & cave-babes (with the latter making it obvious that make-up & hair product were discovered long before fire) to just the good stuff, so it's only about five minutes long (cool theme song though).
