GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo 64)

Everything in this game is perfect, from the beginning to the end. this game is the one game that will stay in every gamers heart. to bad EA games had to **** that all up. but still, this is the best Fps ever. and the best game based on a movie. the multiplayer was great and the story was AWESOME. it had it's times where you wanted to murder your nintendo 64, but after you beat the jungle or the temple you feel sooo good. if anyone had the balls to give this game a 8.9 or below, they better watch out. bottem line, One Of The Best Games Ever,

Goldeneye was the first video game I ever played, and now that I am older I wanted to show it to my friends. Perfect Dark is another game that I remember from back then. Both of these are excellent fpses and I suggest them to anyone that grew up with an N64, or any fans of that genre. Without these games, first person shooters would not be what they are today.

I decided to track this game down on eBay after not having played it for several years. Usually when you purchase something based on nostalgic value, the result is not great...but in this case, my nostalgia has been fully resurrected. Obviously the graphics are what can be pretty well expected for the Nintendo 64, but Goldeneye's main strength is the same - its gameplay. This game is just as fun as it ever was. Though Perfect Dark would perfect the AI system, Goldeneye still stands as one of the best early applications of the N64 graphics system.

awesome game. a classic for the N64. but still one of the hardest 007 games i've ever played. the multiplayer option is so much fun and definitely a party starter

Best Nintendo 64 game out there. If you like older games, this will sure not disappoint. This game is great to play for when you have friends over. I used to play this game religiously. I like not having to wait for loads. The only terrible part is the graphics after playing so much xbox 360 games. When this game first came out if was the best graphics, heh heh.

Great classic shooter game from nintendo 64 replacement game son enjoyed so much had to have again when original game quit working.

This game revolutionized first-person shooters. For those gamers too young to remember the N64 and Goldeneye, do yourself a favor and spend your next $30-$40 on an N64 console and a copy of Goldeneye. Over 10 years later, this game is still fun to play.

This has been agame i have loved to play but could not find in stores. When i found it i had to have it.

When it came to console First Person Shooters it was hard to find one with good controls. I'd have to say that was mostly due to the controllers of the consoles themselves. But the folks at Rare used the N64 controls to their full advantage for this FPS.

The key to good FPS controls is the need of dual analog control on the controller. While the N64 only had one analog stick, they used the directional "c" buttons to control your view and the stick for movement. So how do you aim? First there is an auto-aim that works well. Bur if you want a more specific shot you hold the "R" shoulder button and the stick controls aiming.

Goldeneye was the first game to not only get the controls perfect but also the multiplayer for a console FPS. I can't tell you how many countless hours, days, and weeks I spent playing 4-way split-screen with friends. Similar to how nowadays we do LAN-party's for Halo.

The only problem most people have with Goldeneye today is the frame rate. I don't personally have a problem, but if you play modern day FPS's and are going to play Goldeneye for the first time be ready to slow down.

It is in perfect condition, like promised. I got it quickly. Great game and really fun to play with friends.

An instrumental game, one of the first to bring the true aspect of the movie to the gaming experience. Great graphics for its time, fun factor off the roof. Basically an experience that no one should miss. The game that set the tone for many multi-player shooters to come. It is a must have in the N64 collection and one of the most influenitial games ever made.
