On Golden Pond (DVD, 1998)

My favorite movie of all time. I bought it because I couldnt find it in stores and I want my Daughters to see the movie I bought it from an excellent ebay seller

I purchased this DVD in a continuing effort to replace my favorite movies from VHS tapes. On Golden Pond is one of my all time favorites. While watching this movie I quite literally forget I am watching a movie. The actors & actresses interact so well I feel like I am watching my next door neighbors. I love the exchanges between Fonda & Hepburn. I would recommend this movie to anyone. -

I needed this DVD quickly to give as a gift. It arrived with time to spare. Don't know how it will play since no one has watched it yet. Looks like it's in fine condition. The actual cost on the envelope to send it was less than the seller charged to ship it, but maybe that's how shipping fees work on EBay. (Cost as much to ship as to buy the DVD.) All in all, I'm pleased. The seller was honest and reliable with the description, the item, and with follow through.

What I liked is the honest look at the autumn of life. I just wish it could have been made without Hanoi Jane. Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn were in their top form.

Be sure to have a box of Kleanex with you when you watch this, especially if your own parents have passed on.

This movie is great on so many levels. Seeing Hepburn and Fonda at their finest. Top notch cinematography, and the kind of emotional story that draws you in like a a magnet. My grandparents had a cabin by the lake.

Its been many years since I've watched this, at least 10 or more. Now that both my parents are gone, I really cried my way thru the family moments. Watching this film is like visiting with old friends.

Watch it, you'll feel like you're at the lake with the Loons.
