The Golden Girls - The Complete Sixth Season (DVD, 2006, 3-Disc Set)

I have been a fan of The Golden Girls even since the very first show back in the 1980's. When they decided to stop production, I was very disappointed and tried to catch the re-runs whenever I could but often times television networks change their schedule of shows so it was difficult to keep track of these four funny women. I taped some of the shows on video tapes and that worked for awhile but the quality wasn't good. It was about this time that VCR machines were getting replaced with DVD machines. Which made my tapes useless. Then much to my surprise and delight, the first season of The Golden Girls was released on DVD. I was THRILLED and bought it the first week it was out. And then the second, third, and fourth seasons followed; I got all of them and watched these wonderful, funny women get themselves in and out of all kinds of silly situations for hours on end.
The fifth and sixth seasons seemed to take much longer to get released so when I heard that they too had been released, I ran to the store to buy them. After going to three or four stores and that being able to get them because they were already sold out or because the store hadn't order them, I decided that I would try the best store on the planet, Ebay of course, and sure enough, there they were the fifth and sixth seasons of my all-time favorite show, The Golden Girls. I wasted no time in buying them. Within a few days they were at my door, even the one from Hong Kong! And I have been enjoying them ever since. It was so easy and fast to find them and pay for them (prices were very reasonable. And no crabby sales people to deal with or long lines! What much could someone want out of a shopping experience? Now I'm waiting for the seventh and eighth seasons to be released. But this time I am going directly to Ebay. No more of this running around to several different stores, just to hear" we are sold outcome back in six weeks",business for me. I have learned my lesson. I will always look on Ebay first; it saves time, gas, money and I always find what I want. So thank you Ebay, I will be coming back.

The girls on Golden Girls are so funny, I feel like they are a part of my family, that is how much I have to have the Golden Girls in my life. My home would not be a home without the girls! I have all six seasons so far and can't wait for the next and I think is the last, unfortuately.

Next to MASH, this has got to be one of the most wonderful shows that
television has had to offer, the characters were just great and I loved
them all. I now have six seasons and watch them as often as I can.

I ordered the dvd of the golden Girls and never received it. I attempted twice to contact the seller and the seller never responded. I attempted to get info on shipping status or delivery. I was never contacted. This was the second time I bought an item on e-bay and never received it. My money was taken and never returned. I will not buy from e-bay in the future.

The Golden Girls are a group of ladies who live together in Miami. This is a television show anyone can enjoy. Packed with laughs sometimes to the point where your cheeks and stomach will hurt. This is one of the best comedy series in television history, in my opinion. This show was made in the late 80's early 90's. I am a young woman of 22 who enjoys this show. This goes to show that no matter what your age, you can still get a kick out of it.

If your not rich July is the perfect month for Christmas shopping prices are great and you do not have to worry about that ever fateful shipping deadline. My husband is a victim of Alzheimers and as any caregiver knows of a disabled person shopping time is hard to get. This way i can be home with him and accomplish my Christmas worries Thanks! Sundaye

I have received the dvd and I am enjoying it. So far I haven't had any problems viewing it. I had this dvd before and had to return it to another seller because disc 3 would not play at all . . .I am a Big Fan of The Golden Girls.

I love these cd they come brand new. The golden girls is one of my favorites. Its nice to have them on cd you could watch them over and over and its hours of laughter.

I loved watching the DVDs. They all played great. The case & discs were in very good condition. I wish they hadn't had a name written on them because I'm keeping them in my private collection but of course, that doesn't affect the play. Other than that, it was a very positive buying experience.

i have loved the golden girls for four years now, currently owning seasons one to six. out of all of these, my favourite episodes all fall into this box set. it is funny, good entertainment and great viewing. At the age of twenty five, i'm too young to remember the early eighties but its the best thing i've ever seen!

I love the Golden Girls and found myself wanting to start collecting the series because it's the only show I don't mind watching over and over again. I bought the first couple of seasons from the store but then realized I should try to look on Ebay for them. I have been very happy with my purchase and love ebay for the variety of things it offers.

I was the only one I didnt have out of the whole series. I had started collecting from local stores but they only had certaint ones I knew I could probably find the rest here on ebay.

The Golden Girls follow up their fantastic first season with more zanky and clever comedic lines. With this season, the show starts to resemnble wmore of the golden girls, viewers have come to love. There are many laughs, cries and odd situarions that these four senior women find themselves in.
