THE GOLDEN AGE OF UNDERGROUND RADIO brings back the early days of progressive FM rock with live transcriptions. All artists were featured on the upstart FM radio show--on San Francisco's KSAN--hosted by the legendary Tom "Big Daddy" Donahue. This is not a traditional album. Rather, it is a recreated hour of Donahue's "fabled" nightly show when "underground" FM radio was in its inception. It uses master tapes and transcriptions to assemble a broadcast from sign-on to sign-off. In addition, there are actual news spots, commercials and declarations evoking San Francisco from 1968-1972.
