Gold by Don Williams (CD, Apr-2007, 2 Discs, Hip-O Records)

I bought this CD because one of the songs kept going through my head, "Heartbeat In The Darkness". I could not find this CD anywhere else. It is the wisest purchase I have ever made. I have wasted money on CDs before that I don't even listen to anymore. This one stays handy and I play it over and over. It is great and has all of Don Williams best hits and many I had not heard, or didn't remember hearing before, and I love them all! There is absolutely nothing I dislike about it, it is perfect!

All the good "ole" songs.Great CD. There were songs on here that I didn't know who sang them until I bought this CD. One of my favorite cd's

Don has a smooth voice and the session players are great, overall an
excellent album.

As would be expected this musical offering featuring Don Williams is superb. It's refreshing to get another listen to Don's pleasant voice. The collection of songs for this series allows easy listening to a number of hits without having to change CD's. We hope for yet another live performance by Don. Our annual trip to see him was the highlight of each summer, and sometimes we were fortunate for visits twice a year.

Don Williams has the most beautiful voice and this Gold album is clear as a bell. This country album has ALL his hits. This is the ONE Don Williams album you must have. The recordings are all first class, no live.

I beleive Don Williams is one of the most under rated country music singers of our time, Though he has had many hits over the years he does not seem to get as much noterity as some singer like Cash,Willey and Jones but I beleive he is as good a singer and his hit songs are as good as any thing put out by the above named singers. He is one of a kind, distinct in his vocals and well thought out lyrics. I would recommend Don Williams best hits to any country music fan.

I love this cd, it has all his hits. I've always wanted to get Don Williams' music, but until now had not found one with all the hits. I love everything about his music, he is a true living legend and lives up to his nickname "The Gentle Job".

I love the slow sound of Williams voice on this cd. Every song is rememberable and has true meaning. These songs are the kind that will always be treasured in years to come by his deadicated listeners whom have reamined faithful to him. Loved this CD.

His smooth voice, and songs with a heart felt message give the country music lover just what they want.
