Movie Description
Kumiko Yamaguchi may be the heir to a powerful and dangerous Yakuza clan, but her goal has always been to teach children. Now she's getting the chance; but unfortunately, she's been assigned to the rowdiest class in the school, requiring her to enforce discipline the old fashioned way. THE GOKUSEN follows in the animé tradition of schoolyard comedies, its most direct inspiration being the popular GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA. In KUMIKO'S WAY, the second volume collecting THE GOKUSEN series, Kumiko finds herself struggling to hide her identity from her students. But the constant interference by her clan's thugs and the investigations of teacher's pet Shin are making things more difficult with each passing day.
