This eighth book in the saga of the Well World which is the third and final book in the series titled "The Watchers of the Well".
Continuing where Shadow of the Well of Souls left off we find Nathan Brazil and Marva Chang closer to reaching the central core of the well world where they can get control of the master computer and discover why they were called back. All of the other books have lead to this final rush north and to the final confrontation with the Kraang.
In this new three book series Jack L. Chalker brings back all of the best parts of the Saga of the Well World and we begin another journey into that strange and wondrous place.
Although this series will stand alone, it will be to the readers benefit to start with the first book titled 'Midnight at the Well of Souls' and work up to these, they will make a lot more sense.
