Heart of God's Passion & John Piper
This comment is for those who are acquainted with Piper. Tjis book is at the very heart of all of Piper's other works. It's not the easiest reading, but I count this as one of the few paradigm shifting books of my life. This paradigm shift is not only for this side of eternity, but for the other infinite side of eternity. I find that once my family and I become clear on God's central passion, everything else flows as a clear overflow of this central principle. God's central passion of course is that all things glorify Himself.
After you read this, read Lou Giglio's 'The Air I Breathe'.
